Cristiano Ronaldo ready to quit Real Madrid unless they accept his tax demands

The Portuguese superstar was in court this summer, accused of owing the Spanish authorities money in unpaid taxes.

If found guilty, Ronaldo may be fined as much as £13m.
But according to Don Balon, the Real Madrid forward wants the club to pay the amount in full.

The 32-year-old has reportedly told Madrid president Florentino Perez he is ready to quit the Bernabeu if they do not agree to his demands.
Ronaldo had Madrid fans panicking over the summer after claiming he wanted to leave Spain.
He also told courts he wanted a move back to England.


The former Manchester United star was linked with a return to Old Trafford and also to French giants PSG.
The Ligue 1 side brought in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, which put an end to their hunt for the four-time Ballon d'Or winner.

In the end, Ronaldo decided to remain at Madrid but as he awaits the verdict of the courts, he may be eyeing a move away once more.
The attacker has recently returned from a domestic ban and finds Los Blancos struggling for form.

Ronaldo was on target twice as Madrid recorded their first ever win at Signal Iduna Park against Borussia Dortmund in midweek.

The current Champions League holders take on Espanyol this Sunday.
