Kennedy Ibe, member representing Obowo State Constituency Ibe noted that with the Supreme Court ruling, of January 14, 2020, all issues surrounding the Imo governorship election of March 9, 2019, has been settled with Uzodinma as the legitimate Governor of the state. A Chinese doctor who sounded the alarm on coronavirus two weeks before it was officially confirmed has died, the Wuhan Central Hospital have revealed. Li Wenliang, 34, succumbed to the deadly contagion in the early hours of Friday morning local time despite attempts to resuscitate him. The ophthalmologist caught the public's attention after he was reprimanded by police and accused of spreading 'fake news' for warning on social media of 'SARS at a Wuhan seafood market' on December 30. Li's post came two weeks before coronavirus broke out in the city of 14 million which has been locked down since January 20.

President Donald Trump has confirmed that the U.S. killed the leader of the Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula jihadist group who claimed responsibility for a mass shooting at an American naval base. The group has long been considered the global network's most dangerous branch for its attempts to carry out attacks on the U.S. mainland. The jihadist group claimed responsibility for last year's deadly shooting at Naval Air Station Pensacola, where a Saudi aviation trainee killed three American sailors. Trump said in a statement on Thursday that the U.S. at his direction conducted a counter-terrorism operation in Yemen that killed Qassim al-Rimi. Al-Rimi is a founder of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
