EDINSON CAVANI received a commemorative gift on becoming Paris Saint-Germain's record scorer...a scaled down model of himself!

Finally he had overtaken the mark set by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Afterwards AS report that Cavani, 30, was given a 2D-style trophy - not a magnum of champagne, or commemorative shirt.

No, just the scaled down statuette-like version of himself.

Actually, it takes some believing.

PSG did hold a ceremony in front of the club’s fans to celebrate Cavani’s achievement.

But nobody could really believe the gift that PSG, one of the world’s richest football clubs, handed to their new all-time leading goalscorer.

At least Cavani himself seemed reasonably happy with it.
