Do you know that Real Madrid rejected Coutinho plus cash offer for Bale...Last Season?

REAL MADRID rejected a bid of around £60million plus Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool last summer, according to a recent book.
Liverpool allegedly offered Philippe Coutinho plus cash to Real Madrid for Gareth Bale
Brazilian author Edicinoes Amphora wrote: "PSG: revelations of a revolution", which predominantly surrounds the £198million transfer of Neymar from Barcelona.
And, in it, he claims Real Madrid turned down the opportunity to land Coutinho, who had been a target for their Clasico rivals.

The book allegedly reveals conversations between Neymar's agent Pini Zahivi, friend of Jonathan Barnett, who represents Bale, and Paris Saint-Germain director Antero Henrique.

Zahivi was aware of Real Madrid's reluctance to sell the former Tottenham winger, despite his injury problems.

Their only summer target for Los Blancos had been Kylian Mbappe, and Florentino Perez would allegedly have been willing to allow Bale to join PSG in order to sign the young French striker.
Amphora wrote: "Contrary to Barcelona, the Brazilian [Coutinho] was not a major target at Real Madrid.
Real Madrid were reluctant to sell Gareth Bale despite recent injury problems
"Florentino Perez always thought of Mbappe in reality, as PSG did, so a potential transfer of Bale to Paris could have satisfied all parties, in a three-way game of pool had the Neymar deal fallen through."
Coutinho was a target for Barcelona and PSG in the summer, but Liverpool held firm and refused to sell their talisman.

However, in the January transfer window, he eventually moved to the Nou Camp in a deal worth up to £145million.
