Paul Pogba and Lukaku begged by desperate Solskjaer to stay one more year

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants the Frenchman to stay next season to help drive his rebuilding job — and is being backed by Old Trafford chiefs.
United are considering proposing what would be a win-win deal for the club and their £89million record buy.
The Red Devils believe they would then get the £120m they are demanding for the World Cup winner.

And wantaway Pogba would also get his wish to quit for either former club Juventus or Real Madrid.
Right now the midfielder, who is unhappy at being on United’s summer tour to Australia, is going nowhere.

Italian giants Juve do not have the cash to fund a deal for the player they sold back to United three years ago.
They broke the bank last year for superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, committing a staggering £300m in wages over four years — on top of his £99m transfer fee.
And Pogba, on £300,000 a week at United already, would want at least that to return to Turin.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane is also on record as being an admirer of his fellow Frenchman.
But he has already blown most of his £300m transfer budget since returning to the Bernabeu.
And United have not had an approach from either Real or Juventus for Pogba — who was filmed having a spat with team-mate Jesse Lingard after they landed in Perth.

Swedish defender Victor Lindelof stepped in to calm matters by putting his arm around Pogba.
During a warm-up session later, Lingard and Pogba shared a mat — but a photo of the pair suggested there was still tension between them.
Also OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has told Romelu Lukaku: stay at Manchester United and get your chance next season.
The United boss made a last-ditch plea for the Belgium striker to call off plans to move to Italy.
Lukaku, 26, spoke with Solskjaer before the squad flew to Australia to start a pre-season tour that also takes them to Singapore and China.
And he was told there will be chances to claim the No9 role DESPITE a new contract for Marcus Rashford.
Lukaku has attracted interest from Inter Milan and is willing to move to Serie A to play under Antonio Conte.
Juventus and Napoli are also looking at the ex-Chelsea striker after he lost his regular place last season.

United are happy to sell for the £75million they paid Everton two years ago, but Solskjaer is willing to use Lukaku should he stay.
Inter chief Giuseppe Marotta has not given up on signing Lukaku, where he claimed their pursuit of the player is a "work in progress".
He said: "The transfer market is a work in progress.
"We are working hard to get the best squad possible for the new season. We are ambitious and want the best team possible.
