Sterling, De Bruyne, Lucas Moura and Aguero Score as ManCity Draws at Home #MCITOT (PHOTOS)

Manchester City host Tottenham in their first home game of the season on Saturday evening as Pep Guardiola's side look for their fifth consecutive Premier League win over Spurs.
Game ended at 2-2.

After consulting the VAR, referee Michael Oliver has overturned the goal because there was a handball by Aymeric Laporte in the build-up.
City had 30 attempts on goal to Tottenham’s three. Ten of those City efforts were on target; Spurs scored with both of theirs. City took 52 touches in the Tottenham area; Spurs just five in City’s. City had 13 corners; Spurs just two. And the home side enjoyed 56% of possession, which probably is the least lop-sided stat of all. But it ended 2-2.

A point apiece! Does that tell the story of the match? Yes...and no.

When Raheem Sterling smartly headed City into the lead after 20 minutes, this scenario wouldn't have crossed many minds. City were dominant, purposeful and going for it. Then, Erik Lamela swept home a criminally easy equaliser and their fragility was exposed.

After Lucas Moura popped up with another unexpected leveller, the kitchen sink was slowly summoned. Gabriel Jesus thought he'd won it at the death...but the VAR said no. We might have a few of those moments this season.

Defending champions Man City got their league campaign off to a fantastic start with a 5-0 win over West Ham as Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick in their opener.

Maurcio Pochettino's men also registered a win against Aston Villa after coming back from 1-0 down to 3-1 with goals from new boy Tanguy Ndombele and brace from Harry Kane in last 20 minutes of time.
