Bill Cosby faces 10 Years in Jail as he's found guilty of sexual assault

Bill Cosby's sexual assault allegations have loomed over him over the past few years, even though he's maintained his innocence throughout. Last year, the trial ended in a mistrial which seemed to lead him to believe that he was off the hook. However, that's not the case. His retrial has ended and the actor has been found guilty of all three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

The jury has found Bill Cosby guilty of all three counts of aggravated indecent assault during the mistrial. Cosby has been found guilty for drugging and inappropriately touching Andrea Constand from a 2004 incident that took place at his home. He's now facing 10 years for each charge that's reported to likely being served at the same time.

The jurors spent twelve days listening lawyers and their clients testimonies against Cosby which include Constand as well as five other women who claim that they experienced the same as Constand. The jurors also reportedly asked for a definition of consent which the judge said the Pensylvania law didn't provide. It was ultimately left up to the jurors.  In addition, the prosecutor also slammed Cosby during the trial for smiling while she talked about his accusers.

"He's laughing like it's funny, but there’s absolutely nothing funny about them being stripped of their capacity to consent.” She said in the court room.

Cosby's lawyers also called the accusers liars while the prosecutor said that this is the reason why women who experience sexual assault don't report it.
